The Ghost Forged Carbon CA-05 is a limited edition timepiece of only 100 units worldwide. Each watch comes in a box with papers, strap changing tool and a 2 year warranty.


CASE DESIGN
The Ghost Series case design draws its inspiration from the sleek curves and bevelled surfaces found throughout modern sports car design. It’s avant-garde shape paired with the moon eclipse crown guard is the signature design, synonymous with Creux Automatiq. The FORGED CARBON case is made from a high density forged carbon mould, making the case near scratch resistant and extremely light in weight. The Forged Carbon also features a screw down crown, attributing to the water resistance rating of 10 atm (100 meters).

DIAL
The Ghost dial has been designed for maximum visibility. It features a scratch resistance sapphire crystal, double coated with a specialised anti-glare system. The 3-d Numeric indicators and diamond hands & hour markers are mounted onto a secondary mineral crystal to give the dial the floating “Ghost effect”, allowing us to see deep into the watch mechanics underneath. All indicators have been treated with the highest grade Super Luminova that charges under natural light to aid with night visibility. The seconds dial is displayed at the 9 o’clock to balance out the design, with the skeleton date-view-window displayed at the 6’oclock.

MOVEMENT
The Ghost Series features the Swiss made CA S24-SK8 automatic movement which was designed and manufactured for Creux Automatiq by movement developer Swisstech. The movement is a stunning 33 jewel, 3 hand date System, that boasts a 36 hour power reserve and operates at a frequency of 28800A/H. The gears and mechanics have been tastefully exposed through a skeletal frame all finished of with a combination of black and gunmetal PVD, brushed and polished surfaces.

About Forged Carbon
It is one of the lightest and most durable materials available. It was originally developed by Lamborghini in 2015 when they were creating their Sesto Elemento concept car, the desire was to create a material, that was strong and super light weight, had the properties of carbon fibre but could be moulded and routered into 3-Dimensional shapes. A product that they could use to build engine parts that could withstand the pressure and heat of a high performance engine. The sports watch industry took notice and began to adopt this type of material production and apply it to watch cases. AP and RM were one of the first.
